BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Oliver Thatcher Watson I'm honestly impressed with how much effort was put in to this film, considering that this is a direct-to-DVD film. I thought the animation was amazing and perfect for what it is. The imagery is nice and the animation is very smooth and great. But that's about it when it comes to perks. And don't get me wrong, I still think this film is very well made. But the story is somewhat the opposite of the first films story, which just seems kind of lazy. Granted, it's not done badly, it's just something that isn't that original. The one thing I dislike most about this film is that the voice of Scamp, while he did a great job, just did not fit whatsoever. It's mind-boggingly distracting and is completely off-putting. I say that because Scamp was supposed to be a Puppy still. Yet, for some strange reason, he has the voice of a grown man, which is something I just can't swallow. All in all, this film isn't really great whatsoever and is something that never had to exist. This film isn't necessarily bad, as I'm sure those who really wanted a Lady and the Tramp sequel would probably enjoy it. But I just feel like the executions were sort of done poorly. But that's just me though. While this film is okay at best, I guess the fluid animation in this film does make it worth the hour and a half.
vip_ebriega My Take: Typically routine and lazy straight to video attempt from Disney. Disney must have fallen in love with the family movie tradition that is the family dog. Many movies have devoted themselves with stories that solely center themselves with man's best friend. Disney themselves have made a handful. They also made a handful of those that are literally dogs. Add this one to that bunch.I haven't seen the original for a very long time, so probably I'm not the right person to judge if this straight-to-video sequel fares any better. Anyone above the age of seven aren't the right people to see it either. Perhaps only the youngest of the young will want to see LADY AND THE TRAMP II: SCAMP'S ADVENTURE, and even they would grow up and say it wasn't the best kind of family entertainment they have ever seen. I guess to be fair, I can say is that it warrants a rental, but that ain't much to say. This sequel pretty much picks up the parts left behind after the original oft-called classic. Lady and Tramp now have a litter of cute Crocker Spaniel pups... and one mischievous mongrel named Scamp who is a chip off the old block. Instead of the confines of home, Scamp wishes to run off with the other junkyard dogs of town, unknown of his dad's own past as one of those mongrels of the streets. To capture the charms of the original, this one throws in the same poor dog/rich dog love story, in vice-versa. Scamp falls for a one of the junkyard dogs named Angel (and who wouldn't with a name like that and a voice that sounds like Alyssa Milano?). Que replay of the famous spaghetti scene! Other than the "cute" factor, there is nothing in store for any audience in this lazy straight-to-video effort. Stick with the original.Rating: ** out of 5.
LEXHENthefuzzy Im so annoyed. Why call it Lady and the Tramp when there both Hardley in it? Instead you get a dog called Scamp and a little ( what i like to call a White chocolate dog) called Angel. This really reminds me of the lion king two. Er hello? Is this what a masterpiece can produce as an after ward? Im was so sure that I was going to enjoy this film when watching this with my little cousin. But we ended up going to watch a dumb movie. The best part of it was getting a free dog toy with the DVD! If you are a Disney fan then you might enjoy this. But if you absolutely loved lady and the tramp- the you will be disappointed- sorry.
DiSnEyFaN14 I thought that this is a wonderfully written movie. I love little Scamp, and the street-wise Angel. This movie is very easy for little kids to understand, but a good movie for adults as well. I liked this movie because it continues the original Lady and the Tramp, and that movie is a classic. Lady and the Tramp 2 Scamp's Adventure was filled with new characters, catchy songs, brilliant animation, and unforgettable classic characters. I have loved the movie ever since I saw it for the first time. I also loved how they showed the different personalities of each character. It also shows the downfalls and good things of making new friends that you can hang out with. My favorite song in the movie was Always there because it showed the different characters sharing their views on how they feel. I definitely recommend this movie for everyone that was a fan of the original Lady and the Tramp.
