Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Matho The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
Bumpy Chip It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
ersinkdotcom "Kronk's New Groove" is the direct-to-DVD sequel and obviously concentrates on Yzma's dim-witted henchman. When Kronk finds out his demanding father is coming for a visit, he becomes concerned that his new life as the chef of his own restaurant won't be enough to please him. The devious Yzma uses his insecurities to her advantage and lures Kronk to assist her in an evil "get-rich-quick" scheme. After realizing the consequences of his actions, the lovable lunkhead must find a way to fix all the damage he's caused to his friends. The Emperor Kuzco shows up briefly to provide commentary for "Kronk's New Groove." However, that's all we see of him. This is a delightfully funny sequel to the first film and teaches children the importance of being honest and thinking about the consequences of your actions before doing something.
Michael O'Keefe The EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE cast returns for Disney Pictures follow up, but this time the spotlight is on Kronk(voiced by Patrick Warburton), who is no longer Yzma's(Eartha Kitt)henchman. Kronk has started a new life and is very happy with his role as chef of his own restaurant. Things go merrily along until Kronk gets word that his Papi(John Mahoney)is coming for a visit. Kronk is worried, because he knows that his life won't impress his Papi. One thing that he has always wanted and never received is a "thumbs up" from his dad. A flurry of blunders and a gigantic cheese explosion in the restaurant leaves our likable hero very deep in trouble and anxiety. To save the day, a little help from his friends.Other voices: Tracey Ullman, David Spade, John Goodman, Wendie Malick, April Winchell and Gatlin Green.
cuteychick0013 i thought kronks new groove was a great movie my favorite character in that movie was Ms. Birdwell she was cool and of course emperor Kuzco and i liked how at the beginning of the movie how the 1st lines in the 1st ans 2nd movie were almost completely the same starting out with the bad thing that happened and how they made things better of course Kronk made the movie interesting he was kind of dumb but not as dumb as in the 1st movie in this movie he had turned his life around from being a villain to a good humble fry cook and head delivery boy and way he tells stories about what happened to him the 1st one was how he got the big house on the hill that Papi had always wanted him to have by selling ysmas fake youth potion then he felt bad about buying the old peoples home so he gave it back and in his next story he met the girl of dreams her name was Ms. Birdwell at first it was all about the competition with the two troops then Kronk and Birdwell made the scouts raisin bread and fell in love but tipo didn't quite hear about that so he remembered that Kronk had told them to do what ever it takes to win so he misunderstood him and cheated in the cheer off and Birdwell caught him and was scolding him but Kronk felt bad about it so he took the blame and Birdwell walked out of his life forever so he thought after he was done telling the stories papi came to the restaurant and found out he didn't have all things he wanted him to have but he was always there for his friends so Papi gives him a thumbs up but then just as everyone is going back in the restaurant tipo comes back and brings Ms.Birdwell they walk in the restaurant and dance and the movie ends but in the ending pictures its shows they got married and went on a cruse for they're honeymoon.
Bats H This is the worst waste of time I've ever experienced. not even close to the first one. The story line difficult to follow - plot was weak - at best. The whole thing looked like three stories trying some way to tie them together and make a movie. It had a few good lines here and there - and the attempt at the message was admirable, but they went from Houston through New York to get to Dallas. It was really hard to tell over what period of time the present time took up. The movie was just over an hour and it felt like we had sat there watching the movie all afternoon. Mayve points for being honest - but a son should not have to do all that Kronk felt he had to do. Do your self a favor - Watch Kuzco again.
