ruckingham It is a funny animation movie. It is a story of toys, and main character is a snowman locked up in snow dome. He tries to exit from snow dome, but his trying never succeeds. The methods which he tries are interesting for audiences. It is also funny that his trying seems impossible at all for a toy. However, no matter how he does it, he cannot go out. Other toys are watching the trying snowman while laughing.I focus on following point. That is, it is animation movie. Advantage point is that animation can do that which human cannot or never happen. This can be said in this movie. Snowman lives in water because he is in snow dome. Human cannot do that. Moreover, there is a scene that snowman falls from high place. If he is a man, he would die. However, the snowman survives. One more advantage point is that animation character can express their feelings more clearly than reality world. Especially, their face expression is nice. For example, snowman express his sorrow by dropping his eyes, nose and mouth made of coal. It can indicate his deep sorrow. Human can never do that. I think this movie is good because we can recognize nice points which animation movies only have.

hirojapanese As an amateur standup comedian, I like the back ground music. This is about a snowman in a glass bowl who tries to get out of it to get to a sexy female-shaped toy. He tries everything; using a house-shaped board in the glass-bowl to break the glass, using dinamites, or even using his carrot nose as a nail to hammer. Basically he is always rushing and running around to find the solution for getting out of the glass bowl. but the music consists of slow base line and bright voice hamming and is entirely slow tempo. So there is a big difference of tension of the music and the snowman. This is called (if I apply this to the terminologies of standup comedy) incongruity. People think it is funny when something unexpected comes out from the usual context.

izmsyoko What snowman wants in this movie is very clear. Snowman faces various barriers and overcomes them and there is the ending. This is short film, but the plot is beautiful. This work is PIXER and will lead to the stories such as "finding nemo" and "toy story". Characters are cute and there is an original world view and there is clear introduction, development, turn and conclusion. This work is just like PIXER.This movie is funny and brief, so I like it. Snowman is cute. Snowman's various ideas to meet a cute doll are interesting point of this movie.

ruby765 This short animation film is simply fun with the monotonous background music. A snowman in a snow globe try to get out of the globe in some ways. It's especially interesting for me that he hits his nose with a hammer. I've thought this is like "Toy Story". And then I can understand why I thought that because the director is the same as "Toy Story". I have such a snow globe, and I imagine there is a snowman who wants to get out in my snow globe. If so, I feel a bit sad although I don't feel sorry for the snowman in this film. He should and have to be there as you can see from the ending of it.
