Reviews

Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
daniel_eyler This movie was a wild goose chase literally I'm done with all the jump scares into today's modern horror movies cause this was literally the scariest movie I've seen in a while these are the scariest type of movies in my opinion in this movie you get a glimpse into what it's like when someone gets abducted and how a mother should always react if there son gets taken I highly recommend giving this movie a watch
trulyunexpected7 Can't believe there are so many bad reviews, she just reacted how a normal person would to such a situation. Great movie !!
robynsegg3 Think of every dumb, panicked, thoughtless thing that movie women do. Now put them all in one movie. You just wrote 'Kidnap'. It's not that often that a movie makes me angry. I'm pretty inured at this point of the ways movies can make women seem the stupid sex. And Halle Berry, though a beautiful woman, has made some stinkers. But this one hits a new low.Let's do a brief rundown:This woman is supposed to love her child, but seems incapable of acting in the child's best interest. Has a chance to stop the mustang before the highway, but bails. Has a clear shot to run down the the main kidnapper? Stops. She can't seem to grab a clue with either hand. Talks to herself...and even then she's clueless. She screams and panicked at EVERY opportunity. She throws her hands around like she's catching her child who's 20 feet away. Or to stop a car in motion. Or general panic. (Maybe she's trying to hail a cab?) When she finally gets to the police, she immediately does what? Panicks, of course. (But the writers wants this stupidity to continue, so it's the right course (let's ignore reality)). Halle gets all these angry expressions on her face, but still acts like a church mouse. Well, a church mouse with a bloody face, but clean hands and body? She kills one kidnapper through fluke. Right through to the the very contrived ending (where she pulls a woman who is 3 x her weight and drowns her-she must have been unconscious, because the drownee never fights back. (That would actually be murder, if this was a real case. Regardless of circumstances, you are not allowed to kill unconscious or incapacitated people, sorry.) The 'vicious killer dog' just vanishes (I might have rolled ) and the last accomplice is an easy takedown after he lays down his shotgun and makes a mental mistake (Which Halle's character immediately gets, even though she's been a panicked idiot through the whole movie. Oh, and this is an international child smuggling ring solved single-handedly by a panicked housewife. Why do we need police?Yes, that was some very heavy sarcasm. This movie SUCKED.
imichalakis Worthless movie.Seams that production target group is the totally naive audience. One and a half hour totally wasted.
