Prashast Singh Movie: Kaththi (U)Rating : 4.5/5After a blockbuster THUPPAKKI in 2012, the duo of Vijay and AR Murugadoss returns with their action flick KATHTHI that is the best of its kind. I am not saying it only because I am a fan of the duo. I really love these guys and need to say that through KATHTHI, they have managed to spread a positive message with extreme energy and no dull moments. KATHTHI is dominated not just by Vijay, but by Murugadoss too, in the form of his socially hard hitting script and screenplay. The dialogues are well written and delivered by all. The best ones belong to Vijay, whose dialogues are likely to generate lots of cheers and whistles whenever this movie will be played in any theatre. Vijay performs extremely well: you get to see a blend of a fun loving and an emotional character in this hero very well. Samantha is fine. The surprise package was Neil Nitin Mukesh, who impressed with his funny moves as a villain, and moreover, due to his dubbing for the film and lip sync. Other cast leaves the desired impact.The fight sequences of KATHTHI are an epic in themselves. Every fight is creative and innovative in every bit. The visual effects are very good and so is the cinematography. The music by Anirudh is rocking and the best part is that songs don't unnecessarily pop up. They come only when needed. Kudos to Murugadoss for such a powerful approach towards an important, burning issue of the society.Overall, KATHTHI is a memorable action drama film that works not just due to the star power of Vijay, but also due to its socially hard hitting script. It has rarely any dull moments and is enjoyable to the core. The duo has made sure that after watching the film, you would definitely feel for the farmers and recommend this film go everyone. So do I!

avineeth22 Kaththi was a very nice and entertaining film,with a very good social message,and i have watched it 3 times already,i have not got bored of it,and im still watching it whenever i have time.Very nice acting by Vijay,and his double role is a different side of him which i have never seen in his other movies.Samantha is a bubbly heroine which you would like to see in the film.Sathish is a good comedian and it was his best in this film in my opinion.This is a good movie to entertain you when you are bored.It has all the elements:Action,Comedy,Romance,and Sentiments.All in all good story,stunts,comedy,sentiments,romance,action and strong social messages.My favorite Vijay movies in a while.

Lyca production link with Lanka CM,,REAL LIFE Gang acting in kaththi movie,.)) this encourages THE HERO's fan who take the actor as their role model to do something else........... the movie has many flaws..............the actor himself has not followed the reason for the protest... A movie to that can be watched BUT BUT no reasoning should be done(this movie is not worth for money)....A movie that can be watched twice Overall::: average. 2/5....
