Lawbolisted Powerful
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Maria Trim I loved it twice i have watched it now. Its funny too and well paced, good story made me giggle in lots of places. Sad too but it all came right in the end.I loved the chemistry between them both. I wont say much as people can read it for themselves, but if you want to know whether its worth watching yes it is, really, you wont be disappointed. Go on you know want too. A little bit of heaven to while away an afternoon or when you are having a duvet day.
vincentlynch-moonoi When I sat down to watch this on cable, I had the idea I wouldn't like it. It just seemed like "Topper" (from 1937) recycled once again. But the there was an interesting twist. Reese Witherspoon's character wasn't dead...she was in a coma...so not exactly a ghost. That difference saved the film for me. And, when I sit down to watch a film on cable, I rarely watch it all the way through during one sitting. Here, I did. So this was a pretty good film. The significant cast is pretty small here. Reese Witherspoon is excellent as the young doctor who is in the coma...and "haunting" her old apartment. Mark Ruffalo...well, I was distracted by 2 things...first...why doesn't he shave; second...he looks like a mature Donny Osmond. But I know those things aren't important. What about his acting. Pretty good. Believable. A good acting partner for Witherspoon. Jon Heder as the clerk in a paranormal bookstore..well, every time I've seen him he's in some offbeat role, and I fear that he's stereotyping himself.I recommend this film. It won't end up on my DVD shelf, but I'll probably watch it again someday on cable. The acting is pretty good and, as mentioned, Witherspoon and Ruffalo are paired well here. Incidentally, I thought the score was interesting. Sometimes it reminded me of something akin of "Lawrence Of Arabia".
Jenny Rose Elizabeth is a workaholic doctor trying to get an attending position at a hospital in San Francisco. She loves helping people but sacrifices her social life and sleep. On one late night she is in a car accident. David is a landscape architect who has withdrawn from society out of depression and ends up renting Elizabeth's apartment. Her spirit keeps hanging around but he is the only one who can see her. This is a funny romantic comedy not a scary ghost story. There is a good twist part way through, though it is a bit predictable. I'm usually not into chick flicks, I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.
Boshra Emami About 5 years ago there was this radio show in at one of my local radios, with the same story, But I lost that radio show and never found it again and I've been looking for it EVERYWHERE!! Because the story (of that radio play) was amazing, there was this guy who moved into an apartment but then saw a girl there, figures she was a doc who's in coma now, they fell in love, the man finds her in a hospital and I don't remember the rest.. I think she woke up?! When I was at minute 12 of the movie, I thought I finally found the thing I was looking for, because that radio show was actually based on this movie,so I got the original thing! When the movie ended, I was totally happy, freaking loved it! maybe coz it had details from all of the romantic stories I love, maybe coz it had a great original idea itself! anyways, it was fantastic and if I wasn't sitting at my university's library, I would have cried at one point!GREAT MOVIE, I THINK EVERYONE WILL LOVE IT!
