torstensonjohn Originally made in 1978 and directed by Meir Zarchi the remake takes the original to task. Much of the plot and story stay right on cue with characters relatively the same. A young, albeit plain looking woman retreats to the woods and isolates herself in a cabin to write a novel. She revels in the silence of being alone and one with the woods. She soon realizes she is anything but alone. Enter some town folk who are hellbent on having a good time and savagely rape her repeatedly. The act is quite graphic and definitely not for young viewers or those that are squeamish.The film pushes the boundaries of the torture and rape scenes, this is meant to do that and stun the audience. The woman does not go quietly, she comes back and with revenge and vengeance fueling her. I liked the cinematography, the story and Jennifer (Sarah Burton), the other characters did have their flaws but overall the fil keeps you interested. I did give it a 7 for it's screenplay, being a remake and good plotlines.

It did not work on any level whatsoever. I mean, come on... where's my kicks here? This is just... no. Too many problems to bother going into. Frankly this steaming mound doesn't deserve any more time spent on it. Trust me: it's a stinker.And, uh, ladies... me and the lads, when we're fishing, we don't generally sit around plotting gang rapes, but maybe we are really rare atypical men. Maybe most other guys like gang rape as much as they like fishing (but, like fishing, can't always find the time to do it, I guess). So ladies, rest easy, most of us have better things to do than hatch rape plots against you, although I assure you, you do indeed look lovely today.Sleep tight... there are MEN out there... everywhere...Evil... evil men. One day they're inventing civilization, inventing tampons, changing the tyre, changing the oil, defending you from sabretooth tigers, arresting the bad guy, killing the spider, opening the stubborn jar lid... the next day, they're carrying on like these brutes.Apologies for everything.

Mike LeMar Along with it not being explained how the guys get into the house, the girl tells them initially that she's called the cops so they're on their way. Then she tells them that her BOYFRIEND'S on his way, a signal to them that she's lying about the cops that they don't even pick up on.

joserobertomendoza Brutal, sadistics, violents, I just accidentally watched this movie in a small cinema, but I think there are two groups of mentally sick people, the first is who make films like this, the second is who enjoy them and feel some exceptional artistic deepness. IT IS NOT WORTH TO LOSE TIME IN SEEING IT.
