Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Jonathan Pendley This movie should have gotten more publicity then it did, my ex-wife first introduced me to this movie and I am glad she did, I have watched it 7 times since then. This movie always makes me teary eyed at the end.All the actors do a great job, this movie will keep you glued, it makes you laugh and cry. This is a movie that is a must see. I am have read it other reviews about overrated shows getting more publicity and I have to agree. This movie is great. You will not regret watching this movie.Busy Phillips and Erika Christensen both did an amazing job, I had not seen other movies with them in it until Home Room, but they both showed how amazing of actresses they really are Victor Garber who plays a detective plays the role very well. If anyone is looking for a great movie to sit down and watch this is a movie you want to see.
Bill Petkanas This film looks like it's going to be a stock, script-o-matic, type thing but manages to take nice twists in plot and dialog along the way, Admittedly, some of it is format but most of it is excellent writing. The best thing is the casting for the principles. The two of them deliver perfect performances. This would not have been easy because of some of the unevenness in the script. In parts, they are called on to do highly cliché lines and tears, which is hard to do without letting that sort of thing spill over into the unexpected and unusual parts of the film. They do this admirably and the film moves nicely. In fact, the somewhat cliché sections help the film by suggesting you relax and go along with a predictable format and then surprises you. There's no "didn't see that coming" ending, but you are kept from knowing the ending anyway until you get there. Highly recommended.
ekleshon Home Room really surprised me. In comparison to other movies that were written regarding Columbine high school this one is the best. Home room does not show the school shooting but rather the aftermath and the effects of the community and the town. The movie focus' on two opposite characters., Alecia(Busy Phillips) and Deanna(Erika Christensen). Alecia is an outcast who witnessed the entire shooting. She seems to show no emotion about it. Deanna is a popular girl and the only surviving victim. Alecia is forced to visit Deanna at the hospital in order to graduate. Meanwhile the police are investigating Alecia as she might have known the shooting was going to happen. Alecia and Deanna are very different and do not get along at first. Eventually they develop a mutual understanding for one another and become friends. (very much in the style of the breakfast club). Home Room Beautifully shows the power of closeness and turmoil after a school shooting. I would recommend this film to anyone and everyone.
just_the_writer This movie is incredible. If you have the chance, watch it. Although, a warning, you'll cry your eyes out. I do, every time I see it, and I own it and have watched it many times. The performances are outstanding. It deals with darkness and pain and loss, but there is hope. This movie made me look at the world differently: vicarious experience, according to my English teacher. Also, if you've seen it, note the interesting use of shadows and light. Home room is a phenomenal movie, and I rate it 10/10 - for real - because of the excellent acting, amazing plot, and heart-wrenching dialogue. Very tense, very moving. Doesn't give all the answers, but makes many good points about humankind
