Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Michael Ledo Ben Logan (Aaron Eckhart) works for a security testing company in Belgium. His teen daughter, Amy (Liana Liberato)attends high school. One day when Ben goes to work he finds out his company is missing and never existed.Being a former CIA agent, Ben investigates. He ends up on the lam battling the CIA, authorities, and a corporation that all want him and his daughter dead. Amy quickly goes from a snarky teen to Internet sleuth. The film consists of a lot of double agents. The twists are shown to the audience which takes away from any mystery aspect. It is the "Bourne" type of film with one man against the system. This one has the addition of a daughter. This is a fairly decent film for those who like the "Bourne" type of film, especially if your thirst was not satisfied with that latest 4th "Bourne" installment.
adonis98-743-186503 An ex-CIA agent and his estranged daughter are forced on the run when his employers erase all records of his existence, and mark them both for termination as part of a wide-reaching international conspiracy. In terms of acting Erased stars Aaron Eckhart and Olga Kurylenko are very good and the acting in general wasn't bad. Now in terms of plot and pacing it struggles and it takes a lot of time to reach what it wants to be is it a thriller or an action movie? It's boring and feels kinda like a rehash of Taken 2 the actors as i said do a nice job but the script didn't let them accomplish what they really wanted. Overall i give Erased (2012) a 5.7/10
wilrite OK, the story line is good but not great, good actors involved but here is the good part. It was the worst written screen play, dialogue was terrible, some of the acting was just as bad but I blame that on the Director who should do us viewers a big favor and never direct another film again and do something he may be good at, maybe collecting garbage. Too bad the movie was so poorly done and edited.Fugazzi
bowmanblue Oh, no - Jason Bourne has only gone and been set up again. Now he finds himself and his teenage daughter pursued across Europe by one team of hit men after the next. Wait, that can't be right. Oh, yes, I remember - someone else Liam Neeson sort of know has been 'taken' and now he and his teenage daughter find them chased by shadowy hit men as they're chased across Europe.Okay, maybe not, but that's not too far from the truth. What you have here is a basic Bourne/Taken clone with all the elements you'd expect, i.e. car chases, shootouts, hit men, rogue CIA agents, government conspiracies and setting up of the innocent. If you feel you can sit through another one of those types of times, then give this one a go. For all its unoriginality, it's not that bad.The Expatriate plays out exactly how you'd expect it. There are no hidden surprises here. Chase. Escape. Repeat. That's it. Only here you have Aaron Eckhart doing his best to pretend that what he's doing is somehow original and not just a straight-to-DVD rip-off of a more famous franchise.Nothing bad here, but nothing original. Of course... if you have never seen a Bourne/Taken film, you might love this all the more!http://thewrongtreemoviereviews.blogspot.co.uk/
