Jeanskynebu the audience applauded
SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Tymon Sutton The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
bkoganbing I'm not sure what this Republic western had to do with Death Valley. The country that this was filmed in sure didn't look like any deserts. In fact the word vigilante should have been worked into the title.Death Valley Outlaws finds Don Barry heading home and rescuing young Michael Owen from railroad cops as he was trying to hitch a ride in a freight car. But their friendship is a shortlived one when Owen is killed as he arrives in time to see his father dead and his ranch burning. A dying Owen exacts a pledge from Barry that he would get justice for Owen and his father. When the word of a cowboy hero is given, it is kept.A vigilante committee that was formed years earlier to rid the territory of outlaws are nothing more than outlaws in black hoods now. They're terrorizing the citizens, committing all variety of crimes and Barry pretends to be an outlaw to get inside. Any devotee of B westerns can tell you who's behind it and it isn't kept a secret for long. This Republic westerns moves fast and stays on track with its plot. For Red Barry's legion of fans.
