Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Michael Ledo Frankenstein (Luke Goss) is up for his final race for his freedom. In a hostile take over Weyland (Ving Rhames) has sold the company which sponsors the races to Niles York (Dougray Scott) an immediately unlikeable person. Niles plans to franchise Death Race around the globe, but to have an audience he needs Frankenstein. Frankenstein is given the ultimatum by Niles: Lose or Die.The race takes place in South Africa through friendly and unfriendly shanty towns as well as desert. Frankenstein races against people who would rather see him dead than win the race. Names like: Razor, Nero, Joker, Pretty Boy, Olga, and Psycho. Prior to the race the female navigators are placed in a caged death match as 16 Xena looking/dressed women fight each other until 10 are left. There is a quick flashback to explain Frankenstein, but it is short. The film has plenty of inane "explode on contact" action, racing, hot babes and a twist. Break out the popcorn.Parental Guide: F-bomb, brief sex and nudity.
hamzakgoz It was so beautiful film,I have ever seen. This film's subject is very good.I liked last stage.I thing most beautiful stage was last stage but another stages were so successful.I like car accidents view, cars, guns and explains.Exploins are very realistic.I like Dany Tjero. He is successful actor. His films are great.Best actor of this film is Luke Goss.He is perfect driver.Luke's face injured at the accident. He used the mask. His nick name Frankenstein.Luke's face return the normal but it is very absurd Film's music's are very exciting.Luke replaced himself to razor at end of the film.I'm surprised when I'saw him.I would recommend it to anyone
Frik Groenewald This is one the worst movie I have ever seen. Using Hyenas as guards dog was a definite sign of someone being on a batch of bad chemicals. Khayelitsha is nowhere near the Kalahari desert, just about the only thing they got right was the angry mob (that does happen). The script was bad, and the only good scene in the movie is the last scene, explosions totally unrealistic even for a bad movie such as this one. It seems that the director tried to make up for a bad script with no direction with lots of explosions and gruesome executions. The movie is totally a waste of time that you will never get back. I have seen many low budget movies produce much better viewing experience.
ericzillazillo I just wanna open by saying I hate people who don't judge content by context, and in context, I thought this film was pretty sweet. Yes, there is the continuity problem and some extent of continuity problems- but come on, its a death race movie. Of course Death Race is crap if you judge it by normal movie standards, but death race is death race, man! And while this third installment wasn't a masterpiece, it still delivered enough entertainment for me to go "that was worth it". There's also that ending which, while some might say are cliché or cheesy or "Hollywood endings", I personally thought was awesome. Minus the ultra- numerous plot holes and impossible Hollywood stuff that happens because entertainment conflicts with realism, plus the constant bitching from Danny Trejo and Tanit Pheonix about friendship and deceit is really cheesy and annoying and cheesy and annoying, the only problem I got with this film is that Fred Koehler annoyed the crap outta me with that god awful character "Lists" and the things Lists says which is, as I mentioned before, annoying. However overall, this is a nice finish for a Death Race trilogy, if you bothered to see the first two you might as well see this as well. And yes, let's hope they don't make Death Race #4.
