Harrison Tweed (Top Dawg) I held off watching this film due to its low rating. Finally when I was bored and had nothing to watch, I gave it a go - and was very surprised how great this film is.I am shocked as to why this films score is so low. For starters, the all star cast performances where outstanding. The directing and cinematography was sheer perfection. The writing/screenplay so unique - especially the viewpoint from the Mastiff, and the sub-stories within the story that ultimately all come together at the end. I'm not a fan of slow paced films, but this one was an exception. Its 93 min length was perfect, and there was more than enough suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat, or engulfed in curiosity with the sub-stories to wonder where they will lead to. Even the score was perfect. Director-writer-producer Paul Solet hit this one out of the ball park. I was especially intrigued how he presented the reality of the lucrative underground fights that most of the public don't know exist.If you're thinking of watching this film - dog lover or not, ignore the reviews and watch it. It's a story told really well that shows two sides of humanity. I recommend it and will watch it again! A well deserved 9.5/10 rounded up to a 10/10. Now go see it!

marcus davis I just watched this film on Netflix.I really liked it .There was alot of depth to the characters and also to the story.Very well acted a great cast.This is'nt your usual Hollywood routine formulaic shoot em up action heist flick ,its alot more mature than that.Definitely recommend.

Plain-view A lot better than I expected, caught this one on Netflix this evening and it's a straightforward movie. WARNING: dogfights are a major part of this one, although it leaves most of the gore to the viewer's imagination. Not a movie for folks who don't like to hear dogs yelp/sound like they're in pain.Three thieves (Brody, Culkin, Malkovich) hide out in an abandoned warehouse after a heist. But there's a killer dog on the loose. Reminiscent of Cujo only with really good sets. Had me on the edge of my seat. Intermingled were chunks of exposition on each of the thieves in flashbacks. Culkin was quite good.A lot of camera work from the dog's point of view, which was a unique element. The first minute of the movie was the worst minute.
