Reviews

Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Cheryl A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
Michael Ledo Oe (Ansel Elgort) and Dean (Taron Egerton) went to school on the west coast with rich kids like Biltmores. Joe has the brains and Dean has the gab and connections. They managed to convince their rich friends to invest in their company, the BBC. Investor Ron Levin (Kevin Spacey) invests in the group which includes socializing and investing. Then the scams begin...This was based on a true story, but I never felt the intensity or the climax. The fact that the guys never became famous makes this just another bad investor tale. Guide: F-word, brief sex. No nudity.
gossometric This film was a major disappointment and really lost its way. It started out great, it drew me in and did a great job introducing the characters and the story. I love Tarron Egerton, Emma Roberts and Ansel Elgort, they did an amazing job. Even Kevin Spacey rocks up for another role he has done many times over but they weren't the problem. Half way through the 2nd act it seemed like they were just making it up as they went. I am not sure who's fault it was the writer or director but it was a disaster. The 3 stars is for the actors doing their job it's just a shame the director and writer didn't do theirs.
kellybailey-23521 What a waste of a good cast and story. Editing and sound are bad too.
ManchesterMatthew Considering this film's runtime is around 100 minutes it felt more like 4 hours.I struggled to find any of the characters engaging or likeable, and so didn't feel invested in the story. After about an hour (or what felt like three), my attention had waivered to the point I was on my phone looking up the real-life story behind the film.Maybe it's just not my type of movie, so give it a go yourself by all means. For me, though, this was instantly forgettable.
