Alicia I love this movie so much
Clevercell Very disappointing...
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
aryansinha-29170 Batman vs robin is too misleading title for the movie . But apart from that it's very good movie and adapted the court of owls arc very well . I find the court of owls very creepy . Sometimes movies feel like batman's forgetting his moral code like decapitate talons alfred using shotguns wasted nightwing but his action sequences are interesting . But it should have been more
jwwalrath-227-85487 This is a sequel to Batman and Son and is a vast improvement. The first film suffered from a weak story and dialogue and overall felt like a neutered adaptation of the comics. The studio must have learned from this as more emphasis is put on characters and goes for a more mature feel. (Fun fact: This is written by J.M. DeMatteis, writer for the Blue Beetle/Buster Gold era of the Justice League and Spider-Man's Kraven's Last Hunt storyline.)The driving force of the film is Batman's conflicted relationship with his son Damian. There are just a lot of layers to these too. The main villain Talon is also quite interesting as he bonds with Damian and tries to steer him away from Batman's guidance.Bare in mind this film isn't perfect. Some of the voice acting is very good (Robin, Talon) and some pretty bad (especially Batman.) Though Talon is an enjoyable villain, his employers are underdeveloped in motivations and plans.I also have mixed feelings about how dark this film gets sometimes. On one hand, I applaud the filmmakers for taking risks. (The Dollmaker is a creatively creepy villain in his design.) But on the other hand it also feels like they were trying too hard to be dark and it reeks a bit of realism and trying too hard to make Batman horror.Overall, I think the film is worth a watch.
tankace Batman vs Robin is a really good film and it more than overshadows its previous installment with great action, one of the best modern story- lines of Batman and the voice casting of the Son of Batman. OK it may bothers me that they try to put in Damian Wayne in the story but whatever is well done and I am glad that it wasn't like Batgirl in the Killing Joke and be thankful for that because it would weird and creepy. As for the villains, the Court of Owls, are excellently ingrained to the mythology of Gotham and compare to them the Illuminati look ridiculous and childish.Yea what you are in war with the Catholic Church since the Middle Ages ? Are a threat for the greatest detective in the history of comics ? No, I didn't think so. As for secret societies go this has already become one of my favorites. As for the title Bruce and Damian animosity is build up and when it burst is really nice. Though it took long enough. What I do like to Damian is that he has already the skills to become Batman but he lacks the experience and control of his father. As for Nightwing ,despite his secondary role, he makes a great contrast with the new Robin for he like an older brother in the family. Any way this by far the best Batman films of the New 52 and I recommended to every Bat-fan out there. As for the final movie in the series I will write about it soon enough.
kay900 "Batman vs. Robin" has a very interesting plot. The character of owl lieutenant and the events spawned by his actions make the plot gripping. It is a pretty good sequel to "Son of Batman". Towards the ending the plot plays out well. All though the plot is engaging the movie takes many falls. One major let down is the voice acting. Jason O'Mara manages to make Batman's voice kind of unattached and boring with absolutely no emotions. If you prefer that in Batman's voice you should be fine with the movie. The movie also has a clichéd feel. This movie nothing new to the table and is exactly like the previous batman movies.
